We are seeking to appoint a dynamic and creative class teacher to start in April 2020.  This is an excellent opportunity to join our popular, friendly village school which is acknowledged for its outstanding teaching and learning.

 

The ideal applicant will demonstrate high expectations in behaviour and attainment and always put children at the heart of their teaching. You will have a good knowledge of the National Curriculum and the ability to inspire and motivate others.

Midday Supervisory Assistant (Play Leader)

Days: Monday to Friday (11.55am - 1.05pm)

Pay Scale: (1D point 1)

 

We require an enthusiastic, friendly and active adult who will help to organise groups of children in games on the playground and supervise children eating lunch.  A willingness to give first aid is also desirable but training will be given.  You will need to have good communication skills and be able to interact with children and adults in an enthusiastic and positive way. If you are creative and have a sense of humour, as well as being committed to raising standards we would like to hear from you.

 

This position will be on a fixed term basis until the end of the Summer Term 2020.

Clerk to the Governing Body

The Governing Body is seeking to appoint a Clerk to the Governing Body with good organisational, communication and IT skills.

The role includes:

  • Providing effective administrative support to the Governing Body and its sub-committees.
  • Attending all governor meetings throughout the academic year – usually 3 Full Governing Body meetings and 6 sub-committee meetings (held in the early evening)
  • Preparing and circulating agendas and paperwork in advance of meetings
  • Taking accurate, concise minutes at meetings and circulating them as required
  • Maintaining Governing Body documentation in school
  • Attending appropriate training (which may be in the daytime or online)
