Teaching Assistant / Midday Supervisory Assistant

Teaching Assistant: Monday to Friday 1.05pm-3.20pm (2A point 3)

Midday Supervisory Assistant: Monday to Friday 11.55am-1.05pm (1D point 1)


We are seeking to appoint an enthusiastic and dedicated teaching assistant/midday supervisory assistant to join our friendly and supportive team.  This is a fixed term position, until the end of the Summer term 2020.


The successful candidate will work primarily with specific children on a 1:1 basis and will ideally have experience of providing SEN support. Experience with Speech and Language would be an advantage.  You will need to demonstrate good communication skills, high expectations and a passion for working with children. Flexibility and enthusiasm are equally important qualities.

Clerk to the Governing Body

The Governing Body is seeking to appoint a Clerk to the Governing Body with good organisational, communication and IT skills.

The role includes:

  • Providing effective administrative support to the Governing Body and its sub-committees.
  • Attending all governor meetings throughout the academic year – usually 3 Full Governing Body meetings and 6 sub-committee meetings (held in the early evening)
  • Preparing and circulating agendas and paperwork in advance of meetings
  • Taking accurate, concise minutes at meetings and circulating them as required
  • Maintaining Governing Body documentation in school
  • Attending appropriate training (which may be in the daytime or online)
