Teaching Assistant (Level 2)/Midday Supervisory Assistant - Monday to Friday (8.30 - 3.20pm) 

We are seeking to appoint an enthusiastic and dedicated teaching assistant/midday supervisory assistant to join our friendly and supportive team.

This is a fixed term position, until the end of the Summer term 2020.

The successful candidate will work primarily with specific children on a 1:1 basis and will ideally have experience of providing SEN support. You will need to demonstrate good communication skills, high expectations and a passion for working with children. Midday Supervisory Assistant -  Monday to Friday (11.55-1.05pm) - to start as soon as possible

We require an enthusiastic, friendly and active adult who will help to organise groups of children in games on the playground and supervise children eating lunch.  A willingness to give first aid is also desirable but training will be given.  You will need to have good communication skills and be able to interact with children and adults in an enthusiastic and positive way. If you are creative and have a sense of humour, as well as being committed to raising standards we would like to hear from you.  This is a fixed term contract until the end of the Summer Term 2020.

Clerk to the Governing Body

The Governing Body is seeking to appoint a Clerk to the Governing Body with good organisational, communication and IT skills.

The role includes:

  • Providing effective administrative support to the Governing Body and its sub-committees.
  • Attending all governor meetings throughout the academic year – usually 3 Full Governing Body meetings and 6 sub-committee meetings (held in the early evening)
  • Preparing and circulating agendas and paperwork in advance of meetings
  • Taking accurate, concise minutes at meetings and circulating them as required
  • Maintaining Governing Body documentation in school
  • Using GovernorHub and other IT
  • Providing advice to the Governing Body on legal and procedural matters
  • Attending appropriate training (which may be in the daytime or online)
