COVID-19

Information from School Transport - September 2020

Letter from our Headteacher, Ms Combe - 16th July 2020

Staying COVID-19 Secure in 2020

We confirm we have followed the government’s guidance on implementing protective measures in education and childcare settings and completed a risk assessment before opening the school to wider year groups.

We have implemented cleaning, handwashing and hygiene procedures in line with guidance and these arrangement are detailed in the Parents guidance pack.

We have taken all reasonable steps to maintain a 2m distance in the school and where staff/pupils cannot be 2m apart, we have done everything practical to manage transmission risk.

We will be monitoring arrangements and update our risk assessment following changes and Government advice.

Please do not send you child to school with the following symptoms:

  • high temperature – this means you feel hot to touch on your chest or back (you do not need to measure your temperature)
  • new, continuous cough – this means coughing a lot for more than an hour, or 3 or more coughing episodes in 24 hours (if you usually have a cough, it may be worse than usual)
  • loss or change to your sense of smell or taste – this means you've noticed you cannot smell or taste anything, or things smell or taste different to normal

If your child has attended our setting and has these symptoms, please inform us and arrange testing.

What to do if your child or a household member develops coronavirus symptoms, or your child is identified as having been in contact with a confirmed case.
